Marketplace Growth Operator

Built In One is a dynamic technology startup redefining the gig economy by creating an app-based marketplace that seamlessly connects customers with skilled on-demand professionals. They are seeking a Supply Growth & Community Specialist responsible for expanding their pool of gig worker professionals and designing engaging social media content to attract organic sign-ups.

Responsibilities:

• Aggressively expanding our pool of gig worker professionals through direct sourcing and lead generation (60%)
• Designing engaging social media content to build our brand and attract organic sign-ups (40%)
• Building and nurturing relationships within our gig worker community
• Developing strategies to enhance their onboarding experience
• Analyzing acquisition data to optimize our growth funnels

Requirements:

• Hybrid Experience: 1-2 years of experience blending recruitment/volume sourcing, lead generation, or social media community management
• Content Creation & Tech Savviness: Proficiency in visual design and video editing tools (e.g., Canva, CapCut) to create scroll-stopping social content, alongside familiarity with CRM tools or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)
• Proactive Sourcing Skills: Highly comfortable with 'cold' outreach, direct messaging (DM) on social marketplaces (Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Nextdoor), and persistent follow-ups to convert leads into active users
• Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to evaluate performance data (Cost Per Lead, Conversion Rates) to optimize supply growth strategies and adjust campaigns for maximum ROI
• Exceptional Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills to write catchy ad copy, engage with gig workers online, and conduct professional phone/video screenings
• Independent & Adaptable: Ability to hustle and work independently in a fast-paced, remote startup environment. Must be willing to work US business hours
• Industry Knowledge (Bonus): Familiarity with gig economy platforms (e.g., Uber, DoorDash, TaskRabbit) and what motivates independent contractors is a massive plus
