Business Analyst

ThoughtStorm is a company focused on providing innovative solutions, and they are seeking a Business Analyst to enhance their analytical capabilities. The role involves developing reports and dashboards using Power BI, translating technical concepts into business insights, and collaborating with teams to support workshops and presentations.

Responsibilities:

• Strong BA capabilities including PowerPoint, Excel, and documentation
• Power BI development, including building reports and dashboards as well as SQL to prepare the data
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly insights
• Strong communication skills to enable collaboration with WM team and client, including supporting workshops and presentations to communicate insights

Requirements:

• Strong BA capabilities including PowerPoint, Excel, and documentation
• Power BI development, including building reports and dashboards as well as SQL to prepare the data
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly insights
• Strong communication skills to enable collaboration with WM team and client, including supporting workshops and presentations to communicate insights
• Azure Log Analytics (including KQL) experience
• Experience working with cybersecurity resilience engineering or infrastructure hardening and an understanding of security metrics (e.g., threats blocked, attack types, WAF, etc.)
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including engineering, security, or IT operations
• Ability to gather and document requirements in ambiguous or evolving environments
• Experience with Agile and Azure DevOps
• Experience building business cases
• Experience supporting product or platform teams with metrics-driven decision making
