Flex is transforming the moving and storage industry by making what's traditionally a stressful experience seamless for our customers. They are seeking a Head of Performance Marketing to own their paid acquisition strategy and drive profitable growth across local service markets.
Responsibilities:
- Define our performance marketing approach by region/MSA, allocating budget based on local demand signals, competitive dynamics, operational capacity, and efficiency (CAC, LTV, ROAS)
- Evolve our SEO and organic growth strategy with a specific focus on LLM optimization (GEO) to ensure brand visibility within AI-driven search engines and conversational interfaces
- Own our multi-touch attribution framework and measurement infrastructure, ensuring we accurately track the customer journey from first click through conversion, retention, and repeat purchase
- Build and optimize full-funnel campaigns that address each stage of the moving customer lifecycle—from early research through booking to post-move cross-sell opportunities
- Lead our testing roadmap for new paid channels and tactics (paid social, CTV, TikTok, OOH, local service platforms, affiliate partnerships) with a disciplined test-and-learn methodology and clear success criteria
- Drive continuous improvement in conversion rate optimization, landing page performance, and creative effectiveness across all paid touchpoints
- Own the performance marketing technology stack, partnering closely with Engineering and ad platform teams to ensure seamless data integration, signal health, and the automation of bidding and creative workflows
Requirements:
- 10+ years in performance marketing or paid acquisition leadership, with at least 5 years managing teams
- Deep expertise in paid growth channels for multi-location or geographically segmented businesses
- Strong command of customer lifecycle analytics, cohort analysis, LTV modeling, and retention metrics—you optimize for long-term value, not just initial conversions
- Demonstrated track record identifying and scaling new paid channels from initial tests to material revenue contribution
- Financial acumen with experience managing budgets, including P&L ownership, forecasting, and scenario planning
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex performance data into clear, actionable recommendations for executive stakeholders
- Experience in moving, home services, or similar local service industries is strongly preferred
