Union Square Media (USM) is a respected performance marketing agency seeking a driven and strategic Performance Marketing Coordinator to scale operations for Giraffe, their owned-and-operated brand in the Home Services vertical. This role involves managing advertiser accounts, optimizing campaigns, and supporting customer communications to drive engagement and retention.
Responsibilities:
- Build and manage direct relationships with buyers of leads, clicks, and applications in the home services vertical
- Help launch, grow, and optimize home services campaigns across various platforms
- Support execution and optimization of email and SMS marketing programs, including lifecycle messaging and campaign performance monitoring
- Support the build-out of Giraffe’s advertiser network by identifying, pitching, and onboarding strategic partners
- Collaborate across departments to ensure smooth campaign launches and consistent performance improvements
- Use data and reporting to identify trends, surface opportunities, and drive decision-making
- Work closely with internal teams and partners to build scalable systems and operational workflows
- Manage advertiser accounts from onboarding through optimization and retention
- Identify new home services partners and pitch our solutions
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure campaign accuracy, proper lead delivery, and quality assurance
- Monitor campaign performance, generate reports, and provide strategic recommendations
- Support execution of email and SMS campaigns and automated flows (welcome, nurture, re-engagement, etc.)
- Coordinate with tech and media buying teams to troubleshoot tracking issues and performance discrepancies
- Stay up to date with industry trends, key players, and the competitive landscape
Requirements:
- Performance-minded: You understand the metrics that matter (e.g., CPL, ROI, conversion rates) and are motivated by improving results
- Industry-savvy: Knowledge of the home services lead gen space is ideal, especially experience with O&O sites or direct advertiser relationships (e.g., Modernize, Angi, LeafFilter, etc.)
- Lifecycle-curious: You have experience in email and/or SMS marketing, marketing automation, or customer lifecycle communications
- Relationship builder: You excel at building trust, managing expectations, and creating long-term partnerships
- Operationally sharp: You know how to get things done and thrive in fast-paced environments
- Data fluent: You're comfortable with reporting, analytics, and using insights to improve results
- Must have prior experience in performance marketing, lead generation, lifecycle marketing, or advertiser account management
- Familiarity with platforms like Everflow, CAKE, or similar tracking solutions
- Hands-on experience with email and/or SMS marketing platforms (Klaviyo, Constant Contact, Mailchimp, Campaigner, etc.)
- Existing relationships with home improvement advertisers are a strong plus
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills and a comfort with data analysis
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
