Sleep Doctor is a trusted name in sleep health, dedicated to helping millions achieve better sleep. They are seeking a Business Development Consultant to support a specific initiative within the Sleep Media division, focusing on developing a qualified prospect database and executing outreach strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Develop a qualified prospect database of advertisers across target verticals (pharma, GLP-1, digital health, telehealth, mattress and bedding, sleep technology, and adjacent health and wellness categories), with contacts loaded into our CRM
- Design and execute outbound email sequences against the prospect database
- Produce vertical-specific pitch decks adapted from templates
- Re-engage cold and lapsed prospects to surface qualified opportunities
- Deliver qualified, meeting-ready opportunities for handoff to the Sleep Media commercial team
- Provide a written summary of activity and pipeline contribution each week
Requirements:
- 3+ years of demonstrated experience in media sales, ad sales, or business development, ideally in digital publishing, health and wellness, or programmatic
- Proven track record of independent outbound prospecting with measurable pipeline results
- Working proficiency with CRM platforms (Zoho, HubSpot, Salesforce, or comparable) and Google Workspace
- Strong written communication... outbound copy is a core deliverable
- Ability to independently produce sales collateral in Google Slides
- Self-directed contractor with experience operating against project scope rather than employer direction
