Stitch is a fast-growing company focused on marketing technology solutions, particularly through their partnership with Braze. As a Senior Marketing Technology Project Manager, you will lead the delivery of complex projects, ensuring they align with client needs and strategic objectives while managing risks and stakeholder communications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of medium to large, high-visibility projects and programs
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, success criteria, and milestones
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Drive execution across multiple workstreams and dependencies
- Ensure adherence to agreed delivery methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project sponsors and senior stakeholders
- Facilitate executive-level status reporting, steering committees, and decision forums
- Manage expectations, negotiate scope changes, and resolve conflicts
- Translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies
- Maintain RAID logs and implement mitigation and contingency plans
- Escalate critical risks and issues with clear options and recommendations
- Ensure delivery impacts are understood across business and technical teams
- Manage project budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking
- Coordinate internal and external resources, vendors, and partners
- Monitor capacity, utilization, and delivery performance
- Support contract, SOW, and change management activities as required
- Ensure compliance with PMO standards, controls, and reporting requirements
- Establish clear delivery governance and decision-making frameworks
- Drive quality outcomes and continuous improvement
- Coach and mentor junior project managers where applicable as well as other Stitchers by providing samples and insight around templates, client management strategies, and best practices
- Delve into the details of your projects to develop a deep understanding of the challenges our clients face and work to help create solutions
- Use your relationship-building skills and influence to drive value from the Stitch team
- Conduct meetings and research to understand the expectations of your clients and how they measure success
- Orchestrate PTO coverage for project team members
- Utilize your consulting expertise to step into new or existing accounts with confidence to drive work forward through a strong understanding of the work required
- Utilize Stitch's internal project management tool, Click-Up, to organize the project team's tasks and ensure maintenance of the client's project management tools as well
- Intentionally create and build relationships with clients at multiple levels of the business, Stitch partners, and internal Stitch team members through regular communication and by consistently adding value
- Consistently work with your clients to find new work streams within the business and find new areas to make an impact to expand our existing business with each client
- Contribute new articles and update existing articles within Stitch's knowledge base
- Own one or more design reviews per quarter and challenge project team members to submit design reviews to ensure that high-quality solutions are brought to the client that meet their requirements
- Bring ideas, recommendations, and writeups to other Business Strategists on expanding accounts, finding new workstreams, unblocking progress, and building other relationships within an account
- Actively provide feedback and suggestions on internal tools and processes including project management, design reviews, knowledge base, documentation templates, and more
- Effectively manage your time to achieve quarterly billable targets and balance multiple projects at once
- Serve as a Stitch advocate, continuing to expand our presence and messaging to client prospects, recruiting prospects, and our partners through a variety of external mediums
- Do your part to help Stitch achieve its quarterly and yearly objectives
- Occasionally travel, up to 20%, to client sites to actively participate in strategic discussions with a high level of engagement
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in Braze and its technology integration partners, as well as other relevant technologies in the marketing technology space by maintaining 3 or more Braze certifications, including the Braze Marketer certification
Requirements:
- 7+ years of project management experience delivering complex initiatives
- Proven experience managing cross-functional, multi-stakeholder projects
- Strong executive communication and presentation skills
- Clear, concise communication
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and change
- Experience with Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery models
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
- 2-5 years of experience in marketing technology and customer engagement implementations, preferably with a focus on Braze or similar platforms
- Currently have 3 or more Braze Certifications, including the Braze Marketer certification, or the ability to quickly obtain them after starting the role
- Solid understanding of marketing automation
- PMP, PgMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification
- Experience in consulting, enterprise, or regulated environments
- Experience managing vendors and third-party delivery partners
- Familiarity with PMO governance, financial controls, and reporting standards
