Grownsy is a company focused on parenting-related products and services, and they are seeking a Senior Manager of Marketing Strategy. The role involves leading market research, defining audience personas, developing marketing strategies, and collaborating cross-functionally to optimize campaigns that resonate with parents.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end market research: Design quantitative/qualitative studies, conduct consumer interviews, leverage social listening tools, and analyze trends + competitive landscapes to uncover high-impact insights
- Define core audience personas, map customer journeys, and distill parenting-focused insights to guide brand positioning and data-driven marketing strategies tailored for consumers
- Translate insights into creative excellence: Develop compelling marketing strategies, campaign concepts, and go-to-market plans that align with cultural nuances and parent needs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with content, creative, and product teams to build data-backed campaign messaging, content calendars, video scripts, influencer briefs, and authentic social media storytelling
- Partner with media, influencer, and PR teams to ensure all marketing initiatives are insight-led, culturally relevant, and consistent with our brand identity across every touchpoint
- Drive continuous optimization: Provide data-backed rationales for marketing recommendations, monitor campaign performance, and refine messaging + targeting to maximize ROI
- Stay ahead of the curve: Track U.S. parenting trends, cultural conversations, and emerging community topics to identify untapped growth opportunities for our brand
- Equip leadership with strategic intelligence: Develop competitive analysis reports to inform key business decisions and industry trend alignment
Requirements:
- 7+ years of proven experience in marketing strategy, brand marketing, or consumer insights—ideally with a focus on the market
- Hands-on expertise in digital marketing, market research methodologies, and end-to-end creative campaign planning (from concept to execution)
- A creative problem-solver: You're passionate about turning complex consumer data into strategies that build genuine connections with parents
- Exceptional communication & presentation skills: You can distill dense data into clear, actionable ideas that persuade stakeholders at all levels
