Submagic is a leading AI-powered short-form video platform that empowers users to enhance their social media presence through engaging video content. The Head of Marketing & Creative will design and ship the company's creative marketing engine, owning the creative output across various channels and leading a small team to execute high-volume creative campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Own the creative output across all channels. Influence briefs, ad creatives, content angles, feature launch campaigns. You produce, you review, you ship. You set the bar on creative quality
- Scale influence & affiliation. Currently 64 collabs/month, target 100+. Sharpen casting, briefs, formats, performance loops
- Reboot Meta Ads. Currently underperforming (ROAS 0.56x). Rebuild with a creative-volume approach (100+ variations/month), not optimization-first
- Sharpen product marketing. Every feature launch is a creative event. Stop announcing features. Start staging them
- Set the creative bar across every channel: ads, influence, content, product marketing
- Ship 100+ ad variations per month on Meta, copy, adapt, and reinvent what works in DTC, gaming, and AI consumer
- Brief, cast, and review 80+ influencer collabs per month with sharper angles and formats
- Turn every feature launch into a creative event, not an announcement
- Build a simple, fast loop: what we test, what we learn, what we ship next
- Use AI (Claude, Midjourney, Runway, Veo, ElevenLabs) to compress research, ideation, and prototyping into hours
- Move fast, ship learnings, kill what doesn't work
- Lead a small team across influence, paid, and content, through taste and clarity, not process
- Stay close to execution: review briefs, dig into the work, ship when shipping is needed
- Work directly with the founders. Bring opinions, defend them, get challenged
