Commence is a company focused on data-centric transformation in healthcare. The Program Manager is responsible for overall program execution, client relationship management, and strategic alignment with military health stakeholders, ensuring successful delivery across all program phases.
Responsibilities:
- Own program execution against contract milestones, deliverable schedule, resource management and performance standards across both autonomous coding and denials management workstreams
- Lead kickoff, quarterly in-process reviews, governance forums, and stakeholder engagement activities including site visits to DHA facilities and pilot MTFs
- Provide executive-level risk identification, escalation management, and corrective action planning
- Drive cross-functional coordination between technology , data, clinical coding, revenue cycle, cybersecurity personnel
- Oversee development and maintenance of all programmatic deliverables
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with government stakeholders, manage expectations, and foster cross-organizational collaboration
- Champion change management and user adoption across coder, revenue cycle, and clinical leadership communities
- Ensure contractor compliance with DoD and DHA security, privacy, personnel, and reporting requirements
Requirements:
- 7+ years of progressive federal program or project management experience; PMP or equivalent strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing AI/ML, SaaS, data analytics, or health IT programs for DHA, MHS, VA, CMS, or comparable federal or state health agencies
- Working knowledge of medical coding and revenue cycle operations, including DNFC, A/R days, clean claim rate, and the denials and appeals lifecycle
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage competing priorities across concurrent work
- Strong executive communication skills; ability to brief senior government officials and COR/CO on program status and risk
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain and maintain government clearance
