gdtalent limited is a global learning solutions business that partners with large financial institutions and the life sciences industry to design and deliver innovative Learning & Development solutions. They are seeking a Professional Services Manager to drive sales strategy and business development in North America, requiring a combination of creativity, business acumen, and strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to a SVP, you will work closely with the CEO, North America and senior leaders on the development and execution of the business unit sales strategy and business development in the US
- Take the lead and utilize own knowledge of communication, marketing and our industry to showcase our work and generate new business as well as managing existing business
- Create cross-selling and/or up-selling opportunities by continuously evaluating clients’ needs and goals against our products and services
- Manage the sales forecasting process for the business unit, leverage data sources to gain insights that will identify gaps and enable continuous improvement in sales process / execution
- Demonstrate solution-oriented and strategic thinking while contributing to organizational decision-making with key stakeholders
- Building networks with new and within existing accounts to strengthen overall relationships and provide as-needed support to drive revenue growth
- Promoting digital content and related consultancy services
- Scoping of potential projects and innovating new approaches to meet clients’ needs and budgets
- Report/proposal writing and client-facing presentations
- Consulting with management and business development on client relationship status and business issues
- Providing technical and operational advice during the project lifecycle
- Maintaining close contact with client representatives to ensure that client deliverables and milestones are met
- Providing expertise and brainstorming ideas with the product development team on various projects
- Contributing to the innovation drive within the company by identifying and adding value through continued service improvement to the benefit of the business and clients
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in creative consultancy, learning and development, or equivalent, ideally in a client-facing role
- Minimum of 5 years' experience working strategically in client account management
- Proven track record of surpassing revenue targets
- Personal initiative and drive with the ability to work independently to achieve objectives
- Genuine interest in learning, growing, and pushing boundaries to develop quality programs, products, and services for our clients
