Velixo is a fast-growing SaaS company that connects leading ERPs directly to Excel, providing real-time reporting capabilities. They are seeking a Sales Engineer to own the technical side of the sales process, deliver product demonstrations, and support partner enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical side of the sales process from discovery through close across direct and partner-led deals
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations that connect Velixo’s capabilities to a prospect’s ERP setup and reporting workflows
- Build and maintain demo environments across Business Central, Acumatica, and Sage Intacct that reflect real customer scenarios
- Answer detailed technical questions about Excel integration, ERP data structures, writeback functionality, and financial reporting
- Provide structured feedback to Product based on prospect objections, feature requests, and competitive gaps
- Support partner enablement by helping VAR and reseller teams understand and demo Velixo to their customers
Requirements:
- Deep hands-on Excel expertise — advanced formulas, pivot tables, Power Query, and the ability to explain complex models to a financial professional
- 3+ years of experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, Acumatica, or Sage Intacct
- Strong understanding of ERP data structures including chart of accounts, dimensions, GL entries, and financial data flows
- Experience in a customer-facing role such as pre-sales, implementation, solutions consulting, or technical account management
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business value for finance audiences including CFOs, controllers, and FP&A teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Background in financial reporting, FP&A, or accounting
- Experience working with or inside a VAR or Microsoft partner network
