Ruralis.com is a fast-growing startup specializing in the digital management of vacation rentals outside major urban centers. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative to manage the full sales cycle, focusing on qualifying leads and closing contracts with property owners.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Qualification: Qualify inbound leads and conduct proactive outbound outreach, leveraging platforms such as Airbnb
- Sales Meetings: Schedule and conduct discovery meetings to understand property owner challenges and clearly articulate the Ruralis value proposition (pricing, product, and market differentiation)
- Contract Closing: Execute the sales process to successfully close new management contracts
- Initial Onboarding Support: Manage the introductory stages of the owner onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition post-sale
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the designated CRM system and support the refinement of sales materials like scripts and FAQs
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in a comparable sales or account management role
- Clear, direct, and concise communication skills, both written and verbal
- Highly responsive, proactive in follow-up, and dependable
- A self-starter with a 'hunter' mentality, strong business acumen, and excellent persuasive skills
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, exhibiting ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and team spirit
- Capable of working independently, maintaining organization, and prioritizing actions for maximum impact
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records within the designated CRM system and support the refinement of sales materials like scripts and FAQs
- Experience in hospitality, property management, or proptech
- Familiarity with platforms like Airbnb
