Position: IT Security Specialist III - Venafi
Location: Chicago, IL / Denver, CO
Location: Charlotte, NC
Duration: 12-18 Months Project
This is a 100% onsite role , 5 days onsite.
Job description:
This role is ideal for someone who loves to build writing code from scratch, automating manual processes, and working with modern PKI and DevOps tooling at scale.
Skills Must Have:
C# Developer PKI / Venafi Automation
PowerShell Developer TLS/Certificate Management
DevOps Engineer Certificate Lifecycle Automation
PKI Automation Engineer C#/PowerShell )
5 10 years of experience in software or automation development.
Strong proficiency in C# (preferred) and PowerShell (scripting and modules).
Hands-on experience with PKI, TLS/SSL, or certificate management.
Experience with Venafi, TLS Protect, or similar PKI platforms.
Exposure to DevOps pipelines and CI/CD tooling ( Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab).
Solid understanding of REST APIs, Windows Server, and certificate stores.
Working knowledge of SQL/DB2 for reporting or certificate inventory.
Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
