Manager Cyber Protection Services

Franciscan Health is one of the largest Catholic health care systems in the Midwest, and they are seeking a Manager for their Cyber Protection Services. This role involves leading a team to implement and maintain security controls and solutions while aligning the security department's roadmap with business needs.

Responsibilities:

• Ability to come onsite to meet with vendors occasionally
• Work with the Director to align the information security department’s roadmap with Franciscan’s business needs
• Define the annual and multi-year department roadmap
• Define departmental requirements and recommendations for acquiring new security tools
• Manage internal and external staff responsible for security engineering
• Consult on technology and application security solutions
• Coordinate with other department leaders on the design and implementation of security controls
• Review and ensures teams meet SLAs
• Regularly work with business leaders and departments to integrate security controls into operational workflow
• Assist in technical audits, investigations and potential security breaches
• Evaluate/certify technical adherence of system to established security standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security)
• 7 years Information Security work experience
• 10+ years In lieu of Bachelors Degree, Information security work experience
• 3 years Supervising or leading a cyber security or technology team
• Certified IS Security Professional (CISSP) - International Information System Security Certification Consortium CISM, CISA, SANS GIAC or other industry-recognized certification obtained within 180 days of hire
• Master's Degree IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security)
• 7 years Healthcare industry, audit experience
