Job Title: Epic Applications Analyst IV (Phoenix - Transplant)
Location: San Francisco, CA - CPMC Transplant Services
Schedule: Hybrid (50% onsite required / 50% remote)
Contract: 12-month contract with potential extension up to 3 years
Requirements:
Epic Phoenix certification (required)
Epic Ambulatory OR ClinDoc certification (required)
5+ years of Epic application analyst experience in healthcare environments
Experience with multi-organ transplant centers across healthcare organizations
Experience with Epic Phoenix implementation, workflow design, and optimization (not just support)
Experience in outpatient transplant workflows, including referrals, evaluation, and waitlist management
Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal oversight
Experience with cross-functional coordination, escalation, and project support
Proficiency in workflow analysis, process improvement, and operational standardization
Preferred:
Experience with Epic Phoenix billing workflows or revenue cycle integration (strong plus)
Experience training end users and supporting the adoption of Epic workflows
Experience working within large health systems or enterprise EHR environments
Ability to support change management and stakeholder alignment initiatives
Experience partnering with clinical, operational, and IT stakeholders
Summary:
This role supports Epic Phoenix within Client Health's transplant program, focusing on optimizing and standardizing workflows across outpatient transplant operations. The analyst will assess current-state processes, identify inefficiencies, and design improved workflows across referrals, evaluation, waitlist management, and longitudinal care.
This is not a ticket-based support role. It requires hands-on experience in implementation-level workflow development and optimization, as well as the ability to operate as an independent contributor.
First 90 Days:
Learn current Epic and transplant workflows
Build relationships with transplant stakeholders
Conduct current-state workflow assessments
Deliver actionable recommendations to improve efficiency, care coordination, and patient experience
