The Field Service Engineer will support the US Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment with technical and engineering liaison support, addressing technical inquiries and troubleshooting issues related to MH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters.
Responsibilities:
- Support the US Army’s 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment with technical and engineering liaison support
- Process and respond to technical inquiries from Fort Campbell, KY/TN regarding troubleshooting of MH-60M Black Hawk Helicopters
- Review engineering drawings, technical manuals, and other engineering documentation to conduct research and answer questions
- Communicate with design and systems engineers when higher level support is required
- Communicate with the Program Manager and be the engineering lead on weekly program calls with the customer
- Provide technical support and insight to internal customers such as Product Safety, Programs, Material, Analytics & Technology, and others as required
- Interface with functional engineering on a frequent basis
- Attend conferences, perform on-site inspections, or provide troubleshooting support at the unit
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Engineering, Aviation/Aeronautics, or similar technical field
- Proven experience using Sikorsky engineering systems: Dynamics 365, Matrix One, Electronic Records Center (ERC), Worldview, and Catia
- 7+ years' field experience supporting/maintaining H-60 platform
- Demonstrated familiarity with aircraft maintenance manual, drawings, and flight operations
- Strong ability to troubleshoot, diagnose problems, and relay repair instruction to the customer
- Active USG or LM sponsored Secret Clearance
- A&P license
- Familiarity with the ITAR and International Trade Compliance
- Ability to interface with and present information to high level customers
- Well organized self starter who can operate independently under stress
- Willingness to flex time outside of standard hours to align with demanding needs of the customer
- Work well both independently and in a team environment
