About this role

Supervision of intrusive site works including cable percussive drilling, windowless sampling, rotary drilling, trial pitting and in-situ testing
Completion of project health and safety documentation in the field and office
Liaising with clients on site and providing clear, professional communication
On-site project management, ensuring works are delivered on schedule
Monitoring and sampling of installed standpipes for ground gas and water level/quality assessment
Supervising the installation of new monitoring standpipes
Regular travel within the region and throughout the UK as required

Undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1) in Earth Science, Engineering Geology, Geotechnics or a related discipline
Full UK driving licence
IT literacy (Microsoft Office packages)
Fluency in spoken and written English
Right to work in the UK
Excellent organisational and communication skills with both colleagues and clients
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Comfortable working outdoors and delivering under pressure
1–2 years’ experience in geotechnical/environmental supervision (desirable)
Valid CSCS card (desirable)
Experience with geotechnical or geo-environmental fieldwork (desirable)
