Ookla is a global leader in connectivity intelligence, and they are seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager to serve as a strategic architect for their suite of connectivity solutions. The role involves translating complex product features into compelling narratives, enhancing sales enablement materials, and mentoring a team of junior product marketers.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Positioning: Define how our products win in priority segments by translating technical data into value-driven messaging for specific buyer personas
- Act as the 'Voice of the Customer': Synthesize market insights and feedback from Sales and to inform product positioning and feature prioritization
- Develop and Refine Personas: Ensure our materials address segment-specific pain points and reflect the needs of our key audiences
- Sales Enablement Excellence: Elevate the quality of sales tools—including competitive battle cards, message houses, and pitch decks—to ensure Sales is perfectly aligned on how to win
- Messaging Strategy: Move beyond what a product does to why it matters and how it solves a client's most pressing challenges, ensuring consistency across all global teams
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and develop a small team, fostering a culture of creative problem-solving and proactive support
- Business Growth & GTM: Partner with Product and Sales to lead high-impact launches and facilitate cross-departmental training
- Continuous Content Improvement: Provide ongoing support to keep product collateral and sales enablement resources up-to-date
- Act as an AI Champion: Explore and utilize AI/ML-driven products and processes that can make our work more efficient and impactful
Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience in Product Marketing, preferably within the B2B tech or Telecommunications space
- Expert Storyteller: Proven ability to translate complex topics or data into approachable, easy-to-digest, and persuasive messaging
- Strategic Mindset: Experience in market segmentation, product positioning, competitive intelligence, and high-level GTM planning
- Proactive Problem Solver: A self-directed leader who values teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
- Management Experience: Demonstrated success in managing or mentoring direct reports
