Job Title: Azure Cloud Engineer Enterprise Redis & Azure Virtual Desktop
Client: Housing Preservation & Development (HPD)
Location: Hybrid Mostly Remote (Brooklyn, NY)

Key Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain enterprise-scale Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments
Manage AVD host pools, session hosts, user profiles, and RemoteApp streaming
Maintain image galleries including creation, versioning, and lifecycle management
Design and manage Azure networking components including VNets, subnets, NSGs, and firewalls
Administer Azure Files and Azure NetApp Files for profiles and application storage
Monitor Azure subscriptions, billing, and resource optimization
Build and maintain ARM templates, Azure CLI scripts, and PowerShell automation
Deploy, configure, and optimize Enterprise Redis environments on Azure
Implement Azure security controls including Azure AD, RBAC, encryption, and authentication
Troubleshoot and monitor environments using Azure Monitor, Redis Insight, and related tools
Research emerging technologies and recommend improvements to cloud operations

Required Qualifications
Minimum 6 years of experience as an IT SME / Consultant supporting emerging technologies
Strong production experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) deployments at enterprise scale
Experience with Azure networking, storage, billing, and automation tools
Hands-on Redis administration, monitoring, and performance tuning experience
Strong knowledge of Azure security best practices
Experience using Azure Portal, Azure CLI, and PowerShell
Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

Required Certification
Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (or equivalent)

Bachelor s Degree required
