They are seeking a Senior Technical Business Analyst to review and analyze user needs, create system solutions, and document system requirements while collaborating with project managers and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with project managers to gather requirements and to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications
- Using agile methodology values, principles, and practices to plan, manage, and deliver solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholder and scrum teams to translate business requirements into user stories
- Ability to create wireframes for relevant requests
- Ability to do high level SQL coding to analyze tables required for a given request
- Ability to draw flowcharts/workflow diagrams/data flow diagrams when needed
- Removing blockers for development by getting clarification on requirements from stakeholders
- Design new or modify existing systems to meet business requirements, often working with IT developers to ensure technical feasibility
- Document processes, requirements, and system designs for future reference and communication
- Play a role in testing new systems to ensure they meet business requirements and function as expected
- Identify and resolve issues related to system performance and functionality
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates and managing expectations
- Assist with the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing ones, ensuring a smooth transition
- Presenting data in a clear and compelling way is crucial to being a successful data analyst
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer science, information technology, or related field or equivalent work experience required
- Must have least 4 years of experience as a business analyst required
- The use of Visio or equivalent tool to draw Flowcharts, System flow diagrams etc. is required
- Familiarity with SQL Code required
- Ability to create user stories required
- Ability to shadow business users and artifact workflows
- Must possess excellent people and project management skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills is required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills is required
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps
- Gherkin Language
