Business Systems Analyst

Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to assist the IT Contracts team with researching current agreements and ensuring compliance with applicable policies. The role involves evaluating contract usage, writing findings, and creating remediation plans based on compliance requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the IT Contracts team with researching current agreements, licenses usage, expiration and ensuring compliance with current agreements and applicable policies
• Perform contract usage evaluations, write clear findings, and create prioritized remediation plans based on compliance with current policies
• Support audits, compliance reporting, or formal review processes (internal controls, risk tracking, corrective action plans)
• Facilitate working sessions, manage a backlog of fixes, track compliance progress, and report status/risks

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in information systems, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Communications, Public Administration, or a related field OR equivalent experience
• 3 years' hands-on experience with contract management, specifically software licenses
• Ability to perform contract usage evaluations, write clear findings, and create prioritized remediation plans based on compliance with current policies
• Experience supporting audits, compliance reporting, or formal review processes (internal controls, risk tracking, corrective action plans)
• Proven ability to lead (not just participate): facilitate working sessions, manage a backlog of fixes, track compliance progress, and report status/risks
• Strong communication skills: can explain accessibility issues to non-technical content owners in plain language and provide actionable detail to technical staff
• Knowledge of the Judicial Branch Contracting Manual, State Contracting Manual or State Administrative Manual
• Experienced at establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of the work
• Excellent understanding of software license and contract management
• Recent experience within government agencies or public-sector bodies with projects of a similar type
