Senior Data Analytics & Strategy Consultant (Python/SQL)

SCOPE

Expert-level analytics and strategy role supporting a payments/fintech client. You'll serve as a thought partner to cross-functional business teams designing and executing advanced statistical analyses, synthesizing insights, and translating complex data into clear narratives that drive strategic decisions. This role requires full-stack analytical capability from raw data to executive-ready storytelling.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 15+ years of experience in an Analytics and Strategy role; expert level required
• Payments/fintech domain experience strongly preferred
• SQL expert proficiency
• Python or R expert proficiency for full-stack data analysis
• Tableau (or equivalent) data visualization and presentation
• Advanced statistical analysis and modeling mandatory
• Applied Statistical/ML techniques knowledge and hands-on application
• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, Econometrics, or Applied Social Sciences (Master's preferred)
• Background in consulting or fast-paced, customer-facing analytical environments preferred

TASKS

• Deliver advanced statistical analysis and modeling across complex business problems
• Act as a strategic thought partner to cross-functional business teams; provide actionable data insights and recommendations
• Design and execute analytical approaches for ambiguous, high-stakes problems
• Distill complex analysis into clear, compelling narratives for executive and business audiences
• Build and present data visualizations using Tableau or equivalent tools
• Lead or support organization-wide strategic initiatives and transformative analytics projects
• Influence stakeholders and drive decisions without direct authority
