Evaluate existing business processes and propose improvements to optimize processes and reduce operational costs.
Conduct risk assessments, monitor regulatory compliance, and implement strategies to mitigate financial and operational risks.
Develop financial models, forecasts, and projections to support strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders and management.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams and end-users to ensure software solutions meet business requirements and expectations.
Maintain clear and organized documentation of business requirements, processes, and project progress.
Work closely with product managers, developers, and other teams to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CBAP, CFA) is a plus.
3+ years preferred in the Record Keeper space or working for vendor(s) who serve Record Keepers (e.g., FIS Relius/Omni, Ascensus, SS&C, etc.).
Proven experience as a Business Analyst in the FinTech industry or related financial services.
Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools.
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance in the FinTech sector.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies (e.g., Agile Scrum/Kanban).
Attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work.
