Banyan Software is a company focused on acquiring and growing software businesses that serve specialized industries. They are seeking a Product Manager for DualEnroll, a platform that streamlines dual enrollment processes for colleges, where the new hire will manage day-to-day decisions and facilitate cross-team communication.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day decisions on the existing platform
- Change requests, configuration calls, prioritization trade-offs, customer escalations. You move independently on the calls you can make and loop in the Head of Product on the ones you cannot
- Delivery from idea to production
- JIRA hygiene, sprint rhythm, QA handoffs, release notes, customer-facing docs. We do not have a formal Scrum process today. You will help shape one with our CTO
- AI inside our workflow
- We have started building skills and agents using tools like Claude, JIRA, and Zapier to handle parts of our process. You will keep iterating on them and stitch them together into something more cohesive. This is not 'use ChatGPT to write emails.' We want someone who has built things and can show us how
- Cross-team communication
- You are the connective tissue between Engineering, Implementation, Support, Customer Success, and QA. You produce the release notes, decision summaries, and updates that keep everyone aligned
- Customer conversations
- You will talk to college staff regularly. The best product calls come from real workflow context, not dashboards
Requirements:
- 3 to 5 years in Product Management, Product Operations, or Technical Project Management at a B2B SaaS company
- You have personally owned a backlog, run standups, and shipped releases in an Agile environment
- Hands-on AI tool fluency. You can point to specific agents, prompts, or LLM-assisted workflows you have built or substantially contributed to in a real work setting
- Strong analytical instincts. You can pull signal from usage data, support trends, and customer feedback without being told what to look for
- Clear communicator with both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Familiar with workflow engines, process automation, or configurable SaaS platforms
- US-based. We are not sponsoring visas or hiring on OPT for this role
- Background in B2B SaaS workflow platforms, configurable products, or EdTech
- A developer or technical BA who has moved into product, or a PM with enough technical depth to read code and reason about architecture
- Experience with automation and integration tooling such as Zapier, n8n, or Make
