Vendelux is a Series A SaaS company transforming how companies discover and maximize the impact of events. The Field Sales Development Representative will engage potential leads at industry events to generate qualified leads and set up meetings for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events, and other in-person functions to identify and engage potential leads
- Initiate conversations with prospects to understand their needs and identify opportunities that align with our solutions
- Capture, track, and manage leads using Hubspot
- Qualify leads and schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives and senior sales staff
- Work closely with the marketing and sales teams to align on event strategy, messaging, and follow-up
- Provide feedback from events to improve targeting, messaging, and event ROI
- Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform outreach strategy
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of proven success in in-person sales, including experience building client relationships, meeting or exceeding sales targets, and effectively communicating the value of products or services in a face-to-face environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; confident speaking with senior stakeholders in person
- Energetic, outgoing personality with the ability to start conversations and build rapport quickly
- Highly organized and comfortable working in fast-paced environments
- Willingness to travel regularly for events and conferences (up to 70% of the time)
- Experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads and track performance
