Position: Corporate Attorney Insurance Regulatory / Transactional
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Duration: 12 Months Contract
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney with strong expertise in insurance regulatory and transactional law to support a high-priority global initiative. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex insurance-related agreements in highly regulated environments.
This role requires deep knowledge of insurance transactions, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations related to insurance operations and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate:
- Insurance distribution agreements
- Reinsurance agreements
- Captive insurance agreements
- Intercompany service agreements
- Third-Party Administrator (TPA) agreements
- Provide legal guidance on regulatory insurance matters
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience as a Corporate/Transactional Attorney
- Insurance regulatory and transactional law experience required
- Experience handling:
- Reinsurance agreements
- Distribution agreements
- TPA agreements
- Captive insurance matters
- Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
