TrueBuilt is a company focused on providing AI-powered solutions for restoration contractors. They are seeking a Product-led Growth Manager to build and manage the marketing engine for their TrueRestore product, which involves generating leads and acquiring new customers through various marketing channels.
Responsibilities:
- Work the booth at the biggest restoration conference of the year (RESTORE, Las Vegas) and own the entire lead follow-up pipeline
- Build and launch a customer referral program
- Create franchise marketing materials for our channel partner who's rolling TrueRestore out to 100+ locations
- Publish 16 SEO blog posts targeting searches restoration contractors actually do
- Post 24+ Instagram Reels and product demos, then boost the winners with paid Meta ads
- Become a recognized contributor in 5+ restoration Facebook groups
- Run an upsell campaign to the existing customer base for our AI estimating add-on
- Build the HubSpot email infrastructure: nurture sequences, newsletter, segmented lists
- Social content + community: Instagram Reels (3x/week), Facebook group engagement, Reddit — you're the voice of TrueRestore in the places restoration contractors actually spend time online
- SEO content: competitor comparison pages, how-to guides, programmatic city pages — bottom-of-funnel content designed to rank and convert, not win awards
- Paid Meta ads: $500-1K/mo test budget to start, boosting organic content that performs — you're optimizing for trial signups, not impressions
- Free trial funnel: driving traffic, measuring conversion, A/B testing landing pages — the whole thing from first visit to paid customer
- Customer referral program: setup, launch, ongoing management, making sure customers have a dead-simple way to refer other contractors
- Channel partner marketing: one-pagers, pitch decks, co-branded landing pages, onboarding emails for franchise rollouts — making it easy for our partners to sell TrueRestore
- Events: conference prep, attendee intelligence, lead capture, follow-up sequences — you're not just attending, you're running the pipeline operation
- Email: HubSpot workflows, nurture sequences, monthly newsletter, upsell campaigns
Requirements:
- You've marketed to contractors, tradespeople, or blue-collar operators before. Construction, restoration, HVAC, plumbing, roofing, landscaping, pest control — any field service industry where the buyer doesn't read whitepapers and finds their tools through word of mouth and Facebook groups. If you've only marketed B2B SaaS to other tech companies, this probably isn't the right fit
- You can create content fast. Blog posts, Reels, social posts, one-pagers, email sequences — we need volume and speed, not perfection. Two blog posts a week and three Instagram posts. You don't need a videographer or a designer. You need a phone, Canva, and the ability to write like a human
- You're comfortable with HubSpot. Not just 'I've used it' — you can build workflows, set up lead scoring, create segmented lists, and build email sequences without asking someone to help you. This is your CRM and marketing automation platform
- You've worked at a startup or small company where you were the only marketer. You know what it's like to do everything yourself. You don't need a brand guide, a content calendar template, or a monthly strategy review. You need a product, a target customer, and the freedom to go figure it out
- You can work a conference booth AND write a nurture sequence the same week. This role requires someone who can talk to contractors face-to-face and also build HubSpot automation. That's rare. If you have it, we want to talk to you
- You understand paid social at a practitioner level. You've run Meta/Facebook ad campaigns, set up pixels, built audiences, and optimized for conversions — not just managed an agency that did it for you
- You know what Xactimate is. You know what a supplement is. You know the difference between mitigation and restoration
- You've worked in or marketed to the restoration/mitigation industry specifically
- You've built a referral or affiliate program before
- You have experience with franchise marketing or channel partner enablement
- You're in Southern California (we're based in Huntington Beach) but this isn't required
