The Business Analyst Co-Op role involves managing customer requests, facilitating user adoption of a new volunteer management system, and supporting volunteer management processes.
Responsibilities:
- Triages external customer (volunteer) requests within the shared Volunteer Services Outlook inbox
- Communicates professionally with internal and external customers of the Volunteer Services unit
- Facilitates user adoption of new cloud-based volunteer management system (VMS) by: assisting with training and troubleshooting sessions, participating in the development of communication plans and use cases, creating process flow diagrams and step-by-step process guides
- Maintains up to date information in the VMS and performs administrative tasks related to volunteer management processes
- Supports the recruiting of subject-matter experts to committees by producing reports on current and potential volunteers
- Appropriately handles the storage, distribution, and destruction of sensitive data
Requirements:
- Must be a student at Drexel University, enrolled in the following majors: Business, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Healthcare Administration/Management, Human Resource Management, Legal Studies
- Excellent attention to detail

- Demonstrated skill in use of computer applications, particularly proficiency in Microsoft Office suite with emphasis on SharePoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Microsoft Access and Microsoft Visio
- Experience with functional testing, relational databases, or process flow diagrams
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medical education terminology
