Cypress HCM is seeking a Business Analyst to support HR Technology portfolio governance and operational execution across initiatives. The role involves managing Jira governance standards, maintaining accurate reporting, and ensuring compliance across HR Technology initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Own and enforce Jira governance standards across HR Technology initiatives and enhancements
- Maintain accurate reporting for project status, milestones, risks, trends, and portfolio summaries
- Drive portfolio hygiene cadences to identify stale data, incomplete records, and overdue milestones
- Govern enhancement intake and tracking, including Small Enhancement Requests
- Ensure clear distinction between strategic initiatives, enhancement work, and operational support activities
- Maintain and improve Jira usage guidance and enhancement documentation standards
- Prepare portfolio reporting and insights for executive-level review forums
- Lead HR category support for acompany’s Software Optimization program
- Guide stakeholders through Nestware, Non-Standard Request (NSR), and Software Standards Committee (SSC) governance processes
- Validate intended software usage and document exclusions to prevent tool overlap and scope creep
- Partner cross-functionally with HR Tech leadership and governance bodies to drive compliant outcomes
Requirements:
- 2 to 5 years of Business Analyst experience within technology or enterprise environments
- Experience supporting portfolio governance, delivery reporting, or operational process management
- Strong working knowledge of Jira or similar tracking and governance platforms
- Ability to identify data gaps, reporting inconsistencies, and operational risks
- Strong written communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable working across multiple stakeholders and governance teams
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
