MyEmployment is an innovative company focused on transforming employment verifications. They are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts targeting HR executives, develop demand-generation campaigns, and build a marketing team as the role evolves.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain a 90-day rolling content and campaign calendar
- Design and run demand-gen campaigns that put MyEmployment in front of CHROs, Chief People Officers, and CFOs at U.S. employers with 1,000+ employees
- Build and manage email nurture sequences in ZoHo, segmenting by several different demographics
- Repurpose founder-driven content into multiple formats (long-form, short-form, video, carousel, email) aimed at the employer audience
- Create, edit and/or approve posts, emails, and short videos yourself when necessary to keep cadence consistent
- Use scheduling, CRM, and analytics platforms (Zoho, Zapier, Metricool) to manage publishing and connect marketing activity to pipeline in the CRM
- Review website, email, and funnel metrics weekly — track what's working, test and modify what's not and report results and insights to leadership
- Hire, manage, and QA contractors (writers, designers, video editors) as the function earns budget, and build the marketing team beneath you as the model proves out
Requirements:
- Proven, hands-on experience running multi-channel B2B marketing or demand gen for a founder-led brand — ideally selling to HR, People, or finance leaders
- A track record of building a marketing function from the ground up — you've done the work yourself, not just managed a team that did it
- Strong understanding of content cadence, campaign analytics, and funnel optimization
- Hands-on familiarity with publishing, CRM, and automation tools (Zoho, Sendy, Zapier, Metricool)
- Excellent writing and editing skills; ability to maintain a consistent, credible tone across channels
- Analytical mindset — you love testing and learning from data; working knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and conversion fundamentals (load time, CTA testing, conversion tracking)
