We are seeking an experienced Confluent Solution Architect to design and implement enterprise-scale event streaming solutions using Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to define architecture, integration strategies, and best practices for scalable and secure streaming platforms. 
Required Skills

• 10+ years of IT experience

• 5+ years as a Kafka/Confluent Architect

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka and Confluent Platform

• Deep understanding of Kafka Internals and KRaft Architecture

• Experience with Confluent Cloud, Stream Governance, Data Lineage, and RBAC

• Expertise in Kafka Streams, Apache Flink, and ksqlDB

• Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) and Microservices

• Strong programming skills in Java, Python, or Scala

• Experience integrating Kafka with APIs, Databases, and Microservices

• Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes

• CI/CD and Infrastructure Automation (Ansible, CFK)

• Excellent client-facing, communication, and solution design skills

Preferred

• Confluent Kafka Certification

• Experience with AWS MSK, Open-source Kafka, or Cloudera Kafka

• Professional Services or Consulting background
