The Staff Product Manager will identify high-impact product problems, own complex initiatives, and collaborate with engineering and design to ensure a coherent product experience.
Responsibilities:
- Find the highest-impact product problems across bolt.new, with no one handing you the list
- Own complex, cross-surface initiatives from diagnosis to shipping
- Work closely with engineering and design on system-level decisions
- Keep the product feeling like one coherent experience rather than a pile of features
- Raise the quality of product thinking across the team
Requirements:
- 7+ years of product experience, with at least a few of those at this level of scope and ambiguity
- You use products like a real user. You find broken things because you actually tried to build something, not because you ran through a checklist
- You write well. This is a remote company. Context lives in documents. Your thinking needs to hold up on the page
- You're technically comfortable. You don't need to write the code, but you need to have real conversations with engineers about tradeoffs. Familiarity with developer tools and AI products helps
- You have a high bar for quality. You're the person who notices when something is slightly off and can't leave it that way
- You make decisions. You know the difference between a call that needs more data and one that just needs someone to pull the trigger
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills are required, as this role involves frequent collaboration with team members, stakeholders, and customers where English is the primary working language
