Milestone Technologies, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and process-oriented Lead Business Systems Analyst to support their team. The role involves complex system migrations, data integration, and advanced analytics initiatives, requiring exceptional analytical and collaboration skills while serving as a trusted advisor to internal teams and external C-suite executives.
Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand BizDev Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), security processes (including third-party security), and business workflows
- Map complex processes and data flows across multiple systems such as MS Dynamics, E-Share, Anaqua, and IdeaPoint
- Lead root cause analyses to identify and resolve systemic blockers and issues
- Coordinate closely with data analysts, security teams, and IT infrastructure groups to ensure smooth project delivery
- Support BizDev’s pre-deal collaboration activities with external and new business partners, including licensing processes
- Facilitate seamless migration projects, including Sharepoint to EShare and Anaqua to IdeaPoint data migration
- Lead major strategic projects focusing on transactional data integration, AI-driven insights, and custom GPT deployment
- Collaborate with technical teams to support data infrastructure setup including AWS S3 bucket, Databricks, SQL, and SparkSQL connectors
- Manage project dependencies and internal coordination related to AWS policy and Azure interactions to mitigate delays
- Provide regular updates and maintain visibility with C-level executives and senior stakeholders
- Deliver executive summaries and root cause analysis reports as needed
- Ensure a high standard of white-glove service when engaging business and technical partners, internal teams, and external C-suite executives
- Act as a point person to swiftly solve any blockers or issues that may arise during project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 12+ years of experience in IT business analysis, systems analysis, or project coordination—preferably within biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, or a regulated industry
- Strong expertise in process mapping and data mapping
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics, Anaqua, IdeaPoint, Sharepoint, and EShare systems
- Knowledge of data migration processes, AWS S3, Databricks, SQL warehouses, and AI/ML tools integration (e.g., custom GPT models)
- Strong understanding of security policies, third-party vendor compliance, and collaborative workflows
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including experience working directly with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analyses and produce actionable solutions
- Ability to work PST hours with flexibility for occasional support during China business hours (5 PM–7 PM PST)
- Proven project coordination and leadership capabilities in cross-functional environments
- Experience with Agile and Scrum project management methodologies
- Relevant certifications (PMP, CBAP, PMI-PBA, ITIL, CISSP, Six Sigma, etc.)
- Experience working in artificial intelligence or machine learning projects related to data insights
- Familiarity with Azure cloud policies and their intersection with AWS environments
- Experience with SparkSQL and integrating data queries with AI interfaces
- Strong knowledge of data governance and compliance standards, especially related to healthcare or biotech industries
- Proficiency with advanced data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent
- Familiarity with API integrations and RESTful services, especially in the context of system migrations and data exchange
- Experience in managing large-scale data migration projects and related change management
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and systems integration best practices
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for diverse stakeholders
- Experience working with international teams and managing cross-cultural collaboration challenges
- Knowledge of security frameworks like NIST, ISO 27001, or HIPAA relevant to third-party vendor management
- Familiarity with cloud cost management and optimization within AWS and Azure environments
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Highly organized with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
- Ability to navigate cross-functional teams and drive alignment across stakeholders
