Position Overview
We are seeking a Cloud Administrator to join our enterprise operations and infrastructure support team. The ideal candidate will have experience administering cloud environments, supporting enterprise infrastructure, troubleshooting complex technical issues, and working directly with clients to deliver reliable, high-quality IT services.
This role requires strong technical expertise across cloud platforms, virtualization technologies, Windows infrastructure, storage systems, and operational support processes. The Cloud Administrator will participate in system design, implementation, maintenance, disaster recovery planning, performance optimization, and production support activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support and administration for enterprise cloud environments including AWS, Azure, OCI, and Google Cloud Platform.
- Monitor, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud infrastructure to ensure system availability, performance, and reliability.
- Analyze client requirements and collaborate with technical teams to define infrastructure and architectural solutions.
- Lead small-to-medium infrastructure design and implementation projects while coordinating with project managers and stakeholders.
- Install, configure, patch, upgrade, and maintain servers, storage systems, virtualization platforms, and cloud services.
- Perform system performance tuning, capacity planning, maintenance activities, and version upgrades.
- Develop and maintain standardized build templates and operational procedures for repeatable deployments.
- Plan, implement, and support production changes while evaluating associated risks and business impacts.
- Design and execute disaster recovery tests and maintain system recovery documentation and procedures.
- Work closely with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure service-level commitments are met.
- Support high-availability environments and participate in incident response and problem management activities.
- Provide technical guidance and leadership for infrastructure projects and operational initiatives.
- Maintain documentation, operational runbooks, and technical standards.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to service excellence and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum 3 years of Cloud Administration experience supporting AWS, Azure, OCI, or Google Cloud Platform environments.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working within enterprise-level infrastructure operations teams.
- Strong experience supporting production environments and troubleshooting infrastructure issues.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure management, monitoring, patching, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
