Our client,
a leader in aerospace & defense, is looking to hire an
Test Engineering Technician. This role is fully onsite in Melbourne, FL. *This is a 6-month W2 contract with benefits!*As an
Test Engineering Technician, you will
provide debug and repair support across various cross-functional internal teams,
leveraging your experience test assemblies, fixtures, cables, and circuit card assemblies (CCAs).What You'll Be Doing - Perform ITA (Interface Test Adapter), fixture and integrated rack system verification and inspections
- Perform cable harness repair and build including inspection and continuity verification
- Handle build and inspection of all levels of electronic components onto Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), cable connectors, and electronic parts according to specifications
Basic Qualifications - High School Diploma
- 2+ years of experience as a Test Engineering Technician
- Knowledge of different soldering materials, fluxes, and solders, and their appropriate usage
- Familiarity with soldering equipment, tools, and accessories
Desired Skills & Experience - Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering Technology OR Electronics
- Prior experience or interest in the aerospace, automotive, defense, or aviation industries highly valued!
