Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer with 10+ years of IT software development and ServiceNow expertise. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform development, implementation, and administration, including SAM/HAM, CMDB, SPM, ITSM, and ITBM modules. This role requires local candidates in Austin, TX who can attend an in-person interview and work in a hybrid environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, configure, and maintain ServiceNow solutions aligned with business requirements.
- Implement and support ITSM (IT Service Management) and ITBM (IT Business Management) modules.
- Develop and enhance solutions within SAM (Software Asset Management) and HAM (Hardware Asset Management).
- Manage and optimize CMDB (Configuration Management Database) and related integrations.
- Configure and support SPM (Strategic Portfolio Management) processes and workflows.
- Develop custom applications, workflows, business rules, integrations, and automation within the ServiceNow platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform platform upgrades, enhancements, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices, governance standards, and security requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and business users.
Required Skills:
- 10+ years of IT Software Development experience
- 10+ years of ServiceNow development and implementation experience
- Software Asset Management (SAM)

- Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
- Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- IT Business Management (ITBM)
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
- Strong ServiceNow platform customization and development expertise.
- Experience with integrations, workflows, scripting, and automation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Public Sector or Government project experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Additional ServiceNow certifications are a plus.
- Experience with large-scale ServiceNow enterprise implementations.
