Clinical Implementation Specialist (Healthcare IT | Remote – AZ)

SoTalent is seeking a Clinical Implementation Specialist to lead the rollout and integration of clinical programs, systems, and workflows across healthcare operations. This role will act as a bridge between clinical teams, IT, and operations, ensuring smooth deployment of healthcare technologies while maintaining compliance and improving workflows.

Responsibilities:

• Lead implementation of clinical systems, programs, and workflow changes
• Build and execute rollout plans, timelines, and milestones
• Ensure compliance with clinical, regulatory, and organizational standards
• Support clinicians during adoption of new systems and processes
• Troubleshoot issues during and post-implementation
• Partner with clinical, technical, and administrative teams
• Translate clinical needs into technical requirements
• Monitor implementation progress and performance metrics
• Analyse data to measure effectiveness and identify improvements
• Recommend workflow and system optimisations

Requirements:

• 5+ years in healthcare operations, clinical systems, or implementation roles
• RN, LCSW, MSW, or equivalent clinical background (preferred/required where applicable)
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, etc.)
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT
• Ability to manage projects, timelines, and competing priorities
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Data analysis and reporting capability
• Excellent communication with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
• Healthcare certifications (CCM, CPHQ, CPHM, etc.)
• Change management or Six Sigma experience
• Experience with Medicaid/Medicare populations
• Ability to present insights to leadership
