The Lifecycle Marketing Manager will own customer retention and lifecycle strategy across various channels, driving repeat purchase rates and improving customer lifetime value while collaborating with multiple teams to achieve measurable business results.
Responsibilities:
- Own Levels' lifecycle marketing strategy across email and SMS
- Develop and optimize customer journeys from acquisition through retention
- Manage and improve subscription retention programs
- Build automated lifecycle flows, including:
- Welcome series
- Post-purchase journeys
- Replenishment campaigns
- Win-back programs
- Cross-sell and upsell campaigns
- VIP and loyalty communications
- Create audience segmentation strategies to improve personalization and performance
- Analyze customer behavior and identify opportunities to improve retention and LTV
- Partner with creative and brand teams to develop compelling messaging and campaign concepts
- Own lifecycle campaign calendars and execution
- Develop testing roadmaps for offers, messaging, timing, segmentation, and creative
- Monitor performance and communicate insights across the organization
- Work closely with ecommerce and analytics teams to improve customer experience and conversion
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in lifecycle, retention, CRM, or email marketing
- Deep understanding of customer lifecycle strategy and retention marketing
- Experience with Klaviyo and SMS platforms
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with customer data
- Experience building segmentation strategies and automated customer journeys
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to balance creative thinking with analytical rigor
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment
- Experience in CPG, nutrition, wellness, or consumer products
- Experience managing subscription businesses
- Experience with loyalty programs
- Experience with customer cohort analysis and LTV modeling
- Familiarity with Shopify and ecommerce analytics platforms
