Xen.AI is a global leader in Artificial Intelligence research and development, focusing on transforming operations for financial institutions. They are seeking a Head or Director of Sales and Business Development for AI Solutions tailored for Credit Unions and Community Banks, who will drive growth by forging strategic partnerships and expanding market presence.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the sales and business development efforts for AI solutions for Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), targeting credit unions and community banks
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve growth targets
- Consultative selling , identify customer leads from your network, act as a trusted advisor for the customer, have a deep understanding of customer's business challenges that can be addressed using AI solutions
- Identify and cultivate relationships with potential customers in the Credit Unions, Community Banks, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and industry partners
- Identify new market opportunities and develop tailored proposals
- Collaborate with product teams to align offerings with customer needs
- Negotiate contracts and close deals effectively
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences
- Monitor market trends to inform strategic planning
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in doing consultative selling and professional services selling with Credit Unions and Community Banks
- Proven experience in business development within the Credit Unions, Community Banks, Banking, Financial Services, Insurance sectors
- Experience in selling Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) related solutions for community banks and credit unions
- Proven experience in sales leadership within the financial technology or AI industry
- Manage and lead a team of sales and business development directors
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects
- Proven team management and leadership experience
- Excellent network and relationship with the leaders and decision makers in the Credit Unions and Community Banks
- Excellent skills in business development, strategic planning, negotiation, and project management
- Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills
- Authorized to work in United States, No H1B Visa or OPT sponsorship
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred
- Knowledge of the financial services sector is a plus
- Focused, aggressive, result oriented, can-do attitude
