Responsibilities:
- Provide resolution to moderate and complex client inquiries via phone, online chat, and email
- Utilize internal product guides, support databases, and tools to identify, resolve, and escalate customer issues
- Record interactions accurately in the customer relationship database
- Identify and document resolutions for recurring inquiries
- Participate in product testing, cross-training on other systems, and process improvement initiatives
- Ensure the strict security and confidentiality of all product and customer data
Requirements:
- Minimum of an Associate's Degree (or 2 years of college education) in a business-related field
- Basic understanding of tax, accounting, and audit principles
- Proficiency in computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High commitment to customer service
- Ability to effectively diffuse customer complaints
- Experience with CCH tax software or Salesforce.com
