GCB Industries is a leader in mechanical and fired-equipment services, specializing in boiler plants and combustion systems. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business development by prospecting for potential clients, maintaining relationships, and ensuring sales targets are met.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
- Cold call as appropriate within your market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
- Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging your network
- Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Set up meetings with client decision makers
- Plan approaches and pitches
- Work with team to develop proposals that meet the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
- Participate in pricing the solution/service
- Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
- Submit progress reports and ensure data is accurate
- Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed within the company’s CRM system
- Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met
- Track and record activity on accounts and help to close deals to meet these targets
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree – Management or Business preferred
- Hunter mentality/attitude
- 3 - 5 years of experience in sales is desirable
