Sodexo is a company dedicated to improving the quality of life for those they serve. They are seeking a Director of Business Development and Sales to lead venue sales and forge strategic partnerships across North America, focusing on developing client relationships and achieving sales targets.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains leads, develops prospect lists and identifies potential clients
- Maintains current and accurate databases related to sales/marketing
- Develops and presents sales presentations, proposals or other sales documents based on data that determines client challenges, needs, business issues and Sodexo solutions
- Closes sales
- Coordinates, produces and executes contract documents and develops alternate contract models to better meet client needs and business objectives
- Identifies, qualifies, and develops horizontal sales opportunities
- Develops and implements strategies that result in the achievement of sales, market share, account retention, or market growth targets
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and hazard control practices (e.g., hazardous energy, fall prevention, slips/trips/falls, GHS)
- Ability to conduct audits, analyze incidents, and develop actionable risk improvement plans
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for identifying and mitigating safety risks
- Strong communication skills to advise leadership and collaborate with unit teams
- Commitment to achieving safety objectives and fostering a culture of prevention
- Education Requirement: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Management Experience: 0-5 years
- Related Experience 0-5 years
