We are seeking an experienced SAP Basis Support Engineer to manage and support a complex SAP ecosystem comprising SAP ECC 6.0, SAP BW, SAP PI/PO, and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ). The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring system stability, performance, availability, and seamless integration across the SAP landscape while providing advanced technical support and administration.
Required Qualifications
- 5-10years of hands-on experience in SAP Basis Administration and Support.
- Strong expertise with SAP NetWeaver 7.x environments, including both ABAP and Java stacks.
- Proven experience supporting SAP ECC, BW, PI/PO, and BusinessObjects platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SAP BusinessObjects 4.x administration, installation, patching, upgrades, and SSO configuration.
- Strong knowledge of transport management, system refreshes, client copies, and SAP lifecycle activities.
- Experience with database administration and support on Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or SAP Sybase.
- Solid understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support SAP ECC, BW, PI/PO, and BusinessObjects environments.
- Monitor system health, performance, availability, and troubleshoot issues proactively.
- Manage SAP transports (CTS/CTS+) across ABAP and non-ABAP landscapes.
- Support PI/XI integrations, RFC destinations, ALE/IDOC interfaces, and middleware operations.
- Perform system refreshes, client copies, upgrades, patching, and kernel maintenance.
- Administer BusinessObjects servers, CMC, Tomcat, and reporting platform components.
- Provide L2/L3 support, conduct root cause analysis, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stable and efficient SAP operations.
