Klüber Lubrication is a global leader in specialty lubrication and part of the Freudenberg Group, offering innovative solutions across various industries. They are seeking a Business Development Manager (Hydraulics) to drive growth, develop customer relationships, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support new opportunities and product development.
Responsibilities:
- Drive disproportionate growth of Summit’s Hydraulic Business by leading strategy and operations, generating new business and developing high-value customer relationships
- Lead direct sales efforts by delivering value‑based solutions supported by strong application engineering
- Monitor market trends and customer needs, translating insights into actionable growth strategies
- Partner closely with Sales, Engineering, R&D, Marketing, Pricing, and Supply Chain to support new opportunities and product development
- Engage regularly with major OEMs and customers through frequent on‑site visits
- Support the sales organization through lead generation initiatives, sales tools, training, and market intelligence
- Utilize CRM to track opportunities, customer interactions, and industry insights
- Represent Summit at industry trade shows, seminars, and association events
Requirements:
- Engineering degree (Chemical or Mechanical preferred) or equivalent practical experience
- 3+ years of experience with hydraulic systems operating under high load and high pressure
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or product management
- Proven ability to grow markets and influence cross‑functional teams
- Strong communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills
- Willingness to travel extensively (around 50%)
