Sales Account Manager

G&H is a world leader in optical designing, testing and manufacturing, recognized for their quality in the Aerospace & Defense industries. The Sales Account Manager will drive business development for coated optics and reticule products, managing key accounts and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Drive sales and business development activities for coated optics and reticules into U.S.-based Aerospace and defense OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and Prime contractors
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue and expand G&H’s market share within key programs and platforms
• Manage and grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities from initial contact through to contract award
• Collaborate closely with the engineering and operations teams at G&H Moorpark to ensure alignment on customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, and lead times
• Provide timely market intelligence and customer feedback to support product strategy and operational planning
• Represent G&H at industry trade shows, customer meetings, and program reviews
• Prepare and deliver compelling customer presentations, bids, and proposals in coordination with the commercial team
• Track sales KPIs and report regularly to the Sales Director, Aerospace & defense – US

Requirements:

• 10 + years in technical sales, account management, or business development within the Aerospace and/or defense sector
• Strong understanding of optical components & assemblies and their applications in defense systems
• The role requires a person who is able to both maximize value and revenue from current accounts, as well as identify and open new customers within the target area
• The role will require the successful candidate to travel >20% of their time within continental USA, visiting customers, prospects and other G&H locations
