Cisco is seeking a Director of Product Management for their Threat AI Detections team, focusing on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance threat detection capabilities. The role involves owning the product lifecycle, driving cross-functional collaboration, and leading product strategy from concept to market launch.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Lifecycle: Lead product strategy from concept and planning through to production, release, and end-of-life management
- Drive Cross-Functional Excellence: Act as the central hub connecting design, development, and marketing teams to ensure cohesive, high-impact execution
- Lead with Impact: Direct our product management and technical marketing functions to deliver market-leading solutions that solve real-world challenges
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and 15+ years of experience, or Masters and 12+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience to include 4+ years of people management
- Cybersecurity product management focused on leading complex, cross functional initiatives at an enterprise level
- Experience designing, deploying, and managing large-scale network detection services within a cloud or hybrid infrastructure environment
- Experience building, scaling, or maintaining advanced threat detection platforms, including the integration of AI/ML-driven analytics to identify sophisticated adversarial activity
- Experience in networking protocols, traffic analysis and application-level security architectures
- Strong understanding of the modern threat landscape, including tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by advanced persistent threats
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex security requirements into actionable product roadmaps and strategic technical initiatives
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive consensus across engineering and security teams, and mentor high-performing product managers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical security concepts to both executive leadership and technical engineering teams
