Machine Enclosure is looking for a Vice President of Technology Project Management who will oversee the planning and execution of complex technology projects. This role involves establishing project management methodologies, managing project portfolios, and ensuring alignment between technology and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Establishment of a technical project management system
- Promote the unification and optimization of technology project management processes, standards, and tools
- Improve the overall technology delivery maturity and predictability of the organization
- Responsible for prioritizing and allocating resources for the technology project portfolio
- Coordinate the advancement of multiple key technology projects or large-scale project programs
- Ensure that the project aligns with the company's technology strategy and business objectives
- Directly lead or supervise key, highly complex technology projects
- Control the project's progress, scope, quality, and cost
- Ensure that key milestones and deliverables are achieved as planned
- Coordinate the R&D, architecture, product, testing, operations and security teams
- Managing cross-departmental dependencies and communication mechanisms
- Optimize the allocation of technical resources and improve team efficiency
- Establish a risk identification and early warning mechanism for technology projects
- Leading the escalation and decision support of major issues
- Ensure system stability, security, and compliance
- Work closely with business departments and product teams to drive the implementation of requirements
- Ensure that technology delivery supports business objectives and customer needs
- Maximize the value of technology projects
- Establish a project data analysis and visualization system (such as delivery efficiency, cycle time, and quality indicators)
- Continuously optimize development efficiency (DORA metrics, DevOps capabilities, etc.)
- Promote engineering efficiency and process improvement
- Lead the Technology Project Manager (TPM) and project management team
- Establish a talent pool and career development path for technical project management
- Promote an agile culture and enhance engineering management capabilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related fields
- 18 years of experience in technical project management or software development
- Five or more years of experience in managing large-scale projects or project portfolios
- MBA or project management related certifications (PMP, PgMP, SAFe, etc.)
- Prior experience in internet, cloud computing, enterprise systems, or digital transformation projects
