Nationwide is a Fortune 100 company dedicated to helping people protect what matters most. The Associate Territory Manager will manage relationships for middle market new and renewal business, focusing on profitable growth through direct contact with select agencies or brokers.
Responsibilities:
- Drive profit and premium to meet financial goals and objectives through development, negotiation and execution of business plans
- Help agencies create and implement sales strategies, processes and practices that drive new sales, increase shelf space, profit and member retention
- Collaborate with internal partners to support and increase the overall Nationwide presence
Requirements:
- Commercial Insurance underwriting experience (with authority)
- Production & Agency Management orientation
- Multi-Line underwriting experience within Middle Market accounts, specifically
- Industry segment experience across Manufacturing, Wholesale/Distribution, Food Service & Accommodation, Retail, Professional Services and other related industries
- Relevant insurance designations (CPCU, CIC, AU, etc.), or coursework towards them
