NextGen Invent, an INC.5000 company, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager with a strong background in IT services sales. The role involves lead generation, relationship management, and team leadership, focusing on nurturing leads and closing deals in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities:
- Leverage LinkedIn Sales Navigator and targeted campaigns to identify, engage, and nurture qualified leads across the US and European markets
- Track and measure performance against personal KPIs and OKRs in bi-monthly agile sprints
- Manage the full sales lifecycle in Microsoft Dynamics CRM, from lead generation to conversion and pipeline reporting
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the lead nurturing journey from initial contact through continuous follow-ups to closing deals
- Generate and qualify leads via email, phone, LinkedIn, and other social channels using a structured lead scoring model
- Create and deliver high-impact presentations, pitch decks, and proposals for prospects and internal strategy reviews
- Schedule and coordinate appointments to move qualified leads through the sales funnel
- Partner with marketing to execute campaigns, webinars, and events for both lead generation and long-term client engagement
- Conduct in-depth market and account research to uncover growth opportunities and design-tailored outreach strategies
- Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, ensuring a professional and trust-building prospect experience
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Deliver tailored, value-driven solutions that address specific client needs, improving win rates
- Maintain accurate CRM records, conduct regular follow-ups, and ensure clear communication with all stakeholders
Requirements:
- 6-10 Years of experience
- B Tech / BBA / MBA
- 6+ years of business development/sales experience in the IT services domain, with a focus on the US and European markets
- Proven record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in a fast-growing start-up environment with the ability to adapt quickly and scale processes
- Strong expertise in LinkedIn-based prospecting, lead nurturing, and email marketing
- Proficiency in CRM tools (preferably Microsoft Dynamics CRM)
- Skilled in creating and delivering impactful presentations and product demos
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions, prioritize effectively, and follow through on commitments
- Proven experience in team building, mentoring, and managing business development teams
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, conferences, or other business activities
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and highly motivated with a client-centric, solution-oriented mindset
- Familiarity with sales AI tools (e.g., Canva AI, Otter AI, Apollo.io)
