As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing project phases, building client relationships, and ensuring the successful delivery of IT projects within budget and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain client relationships, understanding and documenting their specific requirements
- Manage project phases efficiently, ensuring timely, budget-compliant completion
- Lead stakeholder meetings, providing regular project updates and communication
- Create detailed project plans, establish goals, budgets, and resource needs
- Identify and escalate project risks as appropriate
- Keep accurate records of project changes, adhering to change management protocols
- Allocate tasks and manage daily operations within the project team
- Facilitate regular meetings to set and review project objectives
- Provide project status updates in managerial meetings
- Support deployments and releases, including after-hours supervision
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on IT projects related to Infrastructure, Data Operations, Integration, and Security
- Lead business centric, IT driven projects, that align with the organizational goals. Support corporate digital transformation initiatives
- Manage integration and security projects, ensuring system connectivity and data protection
- Conduct risk assessments focusing on infrastructure security and data integrity
- Control project timelines and budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization
- Maintain clear communication within project teams for consistent progress
- Create and uphold project documentation
- Coordinate with external partners for project success
- Stay updated with IT industry trends and apply these to current and future projects
- Ensure regulatory compliance in project execution
- Offer technical guidance and foster a collaborative environment within project teams
- Assist in developing IT policies and procedures for operational efficiency and security
- Address additional IT needs as the organization evolves and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field, with a minimum of 8 years in project management
- Comprehensive understanding of IT infrastructure, data operations, system integration, and cybersecurity
- Demonstrated success in managing complex IT projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery
- Proficient in project management methodologies like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, adept in handling intricate IT challenges
- Strong leadership and communication abilities, with experience guiding diverse teams and effectively engaging with various stakeholders
- Skilled in risk management, quality assurance, and compliance with IT regulatory standards
- Agile and adaptable to evolving technology landscapes, implementing IT best practices
- Excellent organizational skills, capable of juggling multiple tasks and meeting tight deadlines
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Asana, Microsoft Project)
- Project Management (PMP) or IT Service Management (ITIL) certification are required
